GM/Ford Dana 60 Brake Hybrid

With the new Dana 60 kingpin knuckles now available, we ran into some troubles with other parts availability.
Wheel hubs and brake caliper stands became an issue, and Dana 60 brakes don't clear 15" wheels very well.

So we set out to solve all the Dana 60 front end problems, and developed some hybrid parts to make everything work out well.

We started with the burly foundation of the Dedenbear Dana 60 steering knuckle.
We added a custom CNC'd brake caliper stand to adapt the GM Dana 60 spindle pattern, to accept a Ford spindle.
With a 3/4-ton GM caliper and a custom rotor, we built a disc brake assembly that will stop big tires, but still fit into a 15" standard steel wheel with up to 3.5" backspacing.
With minor caliper sanding (basically, removal of casting flash) up to 4.25" backspaced 15" wheels can be fitted to this brake assembly as well.

This kit allows the use of Dedenbear knuckles on Ford front Dana 60 axles with a minimum of cost and replacement parts.

Ford knuckle upgrade package, includes Dedenbear knuckle, caliper bracket, complete loaded caliper, and rotor (reuse your wheel hub, spindle, etc.): $500 per side.

Also available complete for custom upgrades, rear steer, or your own special applications.

This kit can also be used with stock GM or Dodge kingpin Dana 60 knuckles.

Supply your own knuckles and save! Brake adaptation parts only, $250 per side, includes complete loaded caliper, new custom rotor, and caliper bracket, fits stock or aftermarket GM/Dodge pattern Dana 60 knuckles.

Will not fit stock Ford knuckles.

May require custom brake lines.

Some aftermarket knuckles may require minor clearance grinding near the spindle bolt locations, to clear the bolt heads holding the adapter to the knuckle. We check this fit and provide the clearancing if necessary, on kits sold with new knuckles.
